‘It’s 100% sure’… Barcelona ace’s agent confirms the player’s future at the club

There is no denying the fact that FC Barcelona aims to remain competitive in each new season. While the team has lacked quality in some recent campaigns, they now seem to be back on track. Fortunately for Barcelona, they now also have a coach who can make their progress as a club count.

With Hansi Flick leading the team, the good work being done by the Barça board is also being reflected on the pitch. From solving the team’s registration issues, although there might still be more work to do on that particular front, to even fixing some of the lingering financial problems, considerable progress has been made.

However, there is still the matter of certain contracts to discuss as well and if renewing them is a priority or not. While certain stars have reportedly been sent new proposals, there are those whose future looked to be uncertain beyond a particular point.

One such player could have been Barcelona ace Robert Lewandowski, whose current contract ends in 2026. However, his agent Pini Zahavi has recently confirmed that the player is guaranteed to stay at the club for at least next season, as highlighted by Fabrizio Romano:

“Robert will stay at Barça next season, it’s 100% sure. He’s happy at the club. He has a contract there and he will respect it until the end of its deal.”

Given how well he has been performing this season in terms of his numbers, which are the best he has given to the team in any season so far, Lewandowski has established himself as one of Flick’s most trusted soldiers.

However, despite rumors of potential interest from Saudi Arabia also coming up here and there, his agent also denied receiving any offers from the region:

“Saudi offer? We’ve not received it.”

While there is still quite some time left to go in the season, Barcelona are currently in a good position. Moreover, the club has already managed to renew some key players already, and it seems likely that they will continue to consider any possible renewals that they can lock down.
