Arsenal and Liverpool can still sign world-class star this summer despite the very high transfer fee set by his current club. The star is already open for move and can opt to change sides this summer.
The star in question here is Alexander Isak of Newcastle United. He is 25 years old and has been in superb form since last season. He ended the last season with 25 goals and 2 assists which made many top clubs show interest in him.
Isak has improved even further this season. He has already scored 22 goals and picked 5 assists in 31 games. Newcastle are very happy with him but may still need to let him leave this summer due to player’s desire.
Isak wants to plag regularly in Champions League. In addition, he wants a release clause in his new contract. The Magpies may hence opt to sell him this summer. They are said to let Isak leave if they fail to qualify for UCL.
Arsenal have shown interest in Isak since a long-time. They are in need to sign a clinical striker and a big-name is very likely to end at North London. On the other hand, Liverpool too want to sign a striker. They are ready to sell both Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.

Newcastle want to make Isak untouchable but the player is pushing for a move. Hence, they are demanding £150 million for him which will become a new British transfer record. Football Insider have now reported that Arsenal and Liverpool can still afford Isak despite this hefty transfer fee.

Earlier it was reported that Liverpool have the best chance to land Isak this summer. Along with Jota and Nunez, they can also cash-in on Luis Diaz who will enter the final year of his contract this summer. As for Arsenal, they are said to be more focused on bringing in Benjamin Sesko who can be a great addition too.
