Blazing-fast deep threat off the table as Pittsburgh Steelers target

Another wide receiver target is off the board for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown. He re-signed with the Cheifs on a one-year, $11 million deal.

Brown missed much of the 2024 season after shoulder surgery stemming from a serious preseason injury, but he was able to return late in the year for the playoff push. After Xavier Worthy’s arrest and the lengthy rehab Rashee Rice is undergoing, there are a lot of questions for the Chiefs at wide receiver, and Brown at least gives them some security.

Over his career, Brown started as a first-round pick with the Baltimore Ravens and was then traded for a first-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals. Brown, still just 27, has over 3700 career receiving yards and 28 touchdowns but has never been able to put it together as a bonafide top wide receiver.

Instead, he has proven to be a solid complement to the star of a wide receiver corps, and his blazing speed allows him to stretch defenses down the field. That will be his role with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense.
