Over the last couple of days, the rumors connecting Aaron Rodgers and the New York Giants have become very loud. At this point in time, they appear to be the front-runners to sign the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
While the rumors have gotten loud and the two sides are definitely talking, that does not mean that Rodgers will end up signing with the Giants.
New York has other options to look into and there are also other teams who could swoop in and sign Rodgers.
There is no real idea of what Rodgers or the Giants will end up doing.
Rodgers would be an intriguing fit for New York and he loved his time in the city with the New York Jets, but it's too early to know one way or the other what will happen.
Art Stapleton, a reporter covering the Giants for NorthJersey.com, has revealed that New York is considering another quarterback option as well.
He reported that the Giants are still looking into the idea of signing 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson.
"Get the sense Giants are the only real suitors right now - they're also continuing discussions on other vet options like Russell Wilson - but Vikings + Steelers can be threats - IF they want to be," Stapleton wrote on X.
I think the three potential landing spots for Aaron Rodgers are Giants, Vikings and Steelers if Justin Fields leaves.

Looking at the two quarterback options, either would be a great bridge option for New York.
Wilson is coming off of a season with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 11 games. He also picked up 155 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground.
Rodgers, on the other hand, completed 63% of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
