Manchester United have the opportunity to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson for around £42 million this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the Brazil international and they attempted to land his signature at the start of the campaign.
The club eventually recruited Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain instead, but this has not ended the speculation over Ederson's future.
Calciomercato claim that Atalanta could be open to selling Ederson this summer. They could demand a package of around £42 million.
Juventus are also interested in securing the 25-year-old's services, but United could have an upper hand with Atalanta reluctant to negotiate with the Bianconeri.
The Bergamo outfit have done business with United in the past. They have sold Rasmus Hojlund as well as Amad Diallo to the Mancunian giants.
United could open talks with Atalanta for Ederson in the coming weeks so that they are in a strong position to sign him during the summer.
