U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance over the weekend vented on social media about a purported incident involving Ukraine protesters and his daughter.
Vance on Saturday took to X to complain about a political protest that he says scared his toddler. Vance has been in the news after he got aggressive with Ukraine's leader during an Oval Office meeting, which led some to suggest Vance has sided with Russia.
"Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of 'Slava Ukraini' protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared," according to Vance.

He continued:
"I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.)"
"It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a s--- person," the V.P. then added.
Well-known MAGA influencer Cernovich responded, saying, "They could go over to Ukraine but won’t."
"Moral cowards who think they have some sort of high ground," he then added. "All can see through their hypocrisy."
