David Moyes left furious with what he saw in Everton’s draw at Wolves, he’ll be having a word…

Everton had to settle for a point against Wolves in a performance which left a lot to be desired on Saturday evening.

Jack Harrison provided the Toffees with the opening goal of the game as he scored for the first time this season.

David Moyes demanded goal contributions from Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom, and that’s exactly what the pair did at Molineux.

However, Everton were unable to keep ahold of their lead for long as they went into the break level.

Moyes enjoyed a week away with his players in the Abu Dhabi heat, but it seems some of the players may still be on vacation mode.

The unbeaten run has continued in the Premier League, but the 61-year-old manager was left absolutely furious with one thing he saw from his side.

David Moyes furious with Everton’s set pieces

Everton have proven a lot of people wrong under Moyes as they have pulled comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

But Saturday night’s display against Wolves will have come as a huge disappointment to the traveling fans.

According to one journalist in the press box at Molineux, Moyes was left frustrated with some of the deliveries from Everton’s set pieces.

‘Another Everton set piece sails into Sa’s arms. Moyes frustrated again,’ they said.

‘The last corner went to the back post and there was nobody there. So much height in this side and delivery/execution has to be better.’

This is becoming a running theme for the 61-year-old manager.

Moyes was annoyed by Harrison’s crossing against Brentford from a corner, and the same was evident on Saturday.

Considering Everton were unable to really get a foothold in the game, set pieces provided the Toffees with a big opportunity at scoring against the run of play.

Charlie Adam has a lot to prove at Everton before the summer

After being appointed in January, Moyes hired Charlie Adam as Everton’s set piece coach.

It is a decision which is yet to show any sign of really benefiting the club on the pitch.

Everton fans have criticised Adam and their set pieces, with the Toffees seemingly getting worse by the week.

Of course, the Blues are without Dwight McNeil – their dead-ball specialist – but there has to be more shown by the likes of Harrison.

Adam has got a lot to prove if he is going to earn himself a spot in the dugout for next season.
