With 64 games complete in their 2024-25 regular season schedule, the Portland Trail Blazers have revealed plenty about who they are and who they’re not. As the season winds down towards the home stretch, we’re going to poll you on a few key topics today. We’ll ask you to rank the Blazers roster in three distinct categories.
This post contains our toughest category: Likelihood of Being Traded. Several factors go into the judgment. Value on the market matters, but so does Portland’s valuation and need of their incumbent players. Contracts and talent factor in heavily too, of course. One way or another, we’re going to ask you to rank Portland’s roster from most likely to least likely to be traded between now and, say, the Summer of 2026 (inclusive).
For our purposes, we’re only going to consider regular and semi-regular rotation players. We’re not going to mess with the bottom end of the roster in these rankings because we haven’t seen those players enough yet to include them with any surety. The players under consideration are, in alphabetical order:
Deni Avdija
Deandre Ayton
Dalano Banton
Toumani Camara
Donovan Clingan
Jerami Grant
Scoot Henderson
Kris Murray
Shaedon Sharpe
Anfernee Simons
Jabari Walker
Robert Williams III
Plus for this category only we’re including a 13th player, Matisse Thybulle.
If you need salary info for the players in question, you can find their current salary here and next year’s here.
Participating is easy. Just list those 13 players in your preferred order in the comment section, most likely to be traded to least. Include explanations if you want, and/or how you feel about the prospect of them leaving.
