NFL Team Honors Erin Andrews at Special Event Amid Uncertain Fox Sports Future

Most sports fans know Erin Andrews from her work with Fox Sports where she serves as a sideline reporter during games and makes appearances on "Fox NFL Sunday" as well as her other occasional work during the World Series, MLB All-Star game, and Daytona 500.

Others know Andrews from her popular "Calm Down" podcast, which she co-hosts alongside best friend and fellow Fox Sports colleague Charissa Thompson.

Both Andrews and Thompson are two of the more popular sportscasters in the business, which was evidenced by the eyebrow-raising turnout at the She is Football Women's Summit hosted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday.

Andrews posted a photo of the turnout on her Instagram page, praising the Buccaneers for hosting the event, which was designed to help attendees "connect and learn with female business leaders from various industries in mentoring sessions with exclusive, behind-the-scenes areas such as the player locker room, press box and more," according to a release.

"Oh you know…just 800 successful/amazing women & the @calmdownpodcast! Thank you @buccaneers for having us. We were so inspired," Andrews wrote.

Many of Andrews' fans are keeping a close eye on her social-media activity these days as they wait for clues about her future employment.

Andrews has spent the last 12 years at Fox Sports after leaving ESPN following an eight-year stint with the network. Most expect Andrews and Thompson, whose contract with Fox Sports is also up, to both be back with the network next season.
