The Gunners having practically sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the Champions League with an emphatic 7-1 win over PSV. With a newfound attacking burst, it bodes well ahead of a trip to take on Ruben Amorim’s men, who have already knocked them out of the FA Cup.

The Round of 16 fixture at PSV was a great return to goal scoring form but it is unlikely that it will continue when playing other teams. Especially in the Premier League, the Gunners are not going to get as much space so they have to be more clinical with how they attack.
Against United who would want to make the game as tight as possible, it will be tough to create many opportunities. But this is where the visitors need to show their clinical edge in front of goal. The front line which will most likely consist of Ethan Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard and Mikel Merino will have to take any chance that comes their way.
Arteta will be confident in his team’s ability to keep the opposition attack at bay but it is the other end of the pitch where the difference will be made. A little more creativity, particularly from captain Martin Odegaard could prove to be key.
Arsenal have to focus on racking up as many points as possible to at least let Liverpool know that they are around. And although the league may be a foregone conclusion, there is still a lot of football to be played.
