The latest Man Utd team news and injury updates ahead of facing Arsenal in the Premier League today.

Manchester United could be without 11 players when they host Arsenal in the Premier League this afternoon. Ruben Amorim's side were held to a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in midweek and could have one eye on the second leg when they face their traditional rivals at Old Trafford later today.

United are certain to be without Patrick Dorgu for the match as he serves the second of his three-match domestic suspension for a red card against Ipswich Town. Chido Obi is in contention to feature against his former club after he was ineligible to feature in the Europa League match on Thursday night.

Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte both missed the first leg of their last 16 tie and Amorim will hope to have them both fit when they welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford. Here is all the latest injury news and expected return dates ahead of the clash.

Manchester United injury news and return dates vs Arsenal

Manuel Ugarte - 9 March vs Arsenal (H)

Ugarte missed the midweek draw with Real Sociedad due to a minor issue. Amorim is unsure if he will be available to return to the squad today but he has not been ruled out entirely.

Harry Maguire - 9 March vs Arsenal (H)

Maguire also missed the Sociedad first leg due to a minor injury. He could be back in the squad this weekend but might only be fit enough for a place on the bench.

Mason Mount - 1 April vs Nottingham Forest (A)

Mount is getting closer to a return from injury and could be back in action early next month. He has yet to return to training, so it seems unlikely he will feature before the forthcoming international break.

Kobbie Mainoo - 1 April vs Nottingham Forest (A)

Mainoo is expected to return to action after the March international break, after he suffered an issue in training. The Nottingham Forest clash is the earliest possibility.

Luke Shaw - 6 April vs Man City (H)

Shaw is still a way off a return from injury and it could be the best part of another month before he is back in action. Ruben Amorim said Mason Mount is closer to a recovery than the left-back.

Altay Bayindir - Unknown

Bayindir did not train this week and there is still no specific update on when he might return to action.

Tom Heaton - Unknown

Heaton is still sidelined with an injury and could be pushed towards retirement at the end of the season.

Jonny Evans - Unknown

Evans is another player who is currently sidelined and has not taken part in any recent training sessions. He could also retire at the end of the campaign.

Amad Diallo - 10 May vs Brentford (A)

There is now hope Amad could return to action before the end of the season after he suffered ankle ligament damage last month.

Lisandro Martinez - End of the season at the earliest

Martinez has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he underwent surgery on a serious knee injury. His recovery could even see him miss the majority of the calendar year.
