Ex-Captives Send Netanyahu Letter, Urging him to Fully Implement Gaza Deal

**DayofPal**– Dozens of released Israeli captives have sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, calling on him to carry out the Gaza prisoners swap and ceasefire deal ASAP, Jerusalem Post reported.

Nearly 56 ex-captives called on Netanyahu to abide by the deal on the table and to ensure the release of all remaining captives in one go, in a letter posted on the social media platform Instagram on Friday evening.

“We are not truly free whilst they are still \[in Gaza\],” they wrote, while also warned that this may be the final opportunity provided for Israel to save those still alive in Gaza, saying renewed military attacks will be in vain.

Among those signed the letter was Yarden Bibas, whose wife and two young sons were killed by Israeli airstrikes while held captive in Gaza.

“We who have experienced the inferno know that a return to war is life-threatening for those still left behind.”

“Implement the agreement in full, in one single manoeuvre,” the letter reads as the ex-captives accused him of evading for his political gains.

However, Netanyahu continues to evade committing to the ceasefire deal brokered by US, Qatar, and Egypt; all what he seeks is to extend the first phase in exchange for the release of more captives, while rejecting to go ahead with the second phase talks.

Netanyahu, in addition, continues to violate the current agreement by sealing off all Gaza crossings and blocking food, shelter, and aid for the ninth day in a row since the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
