JOHOR BAHRU - Shoppers at a popular mall here were left in shock when a section of the ceiling collapsed at approximately 7pm on March 8.
No casualties were reported in the incident, which involved debris falling onto the floor of the shopping complex.
Images and videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media, raising concerns about building safety.
Larkin Fire Station chief Mohd Suhaimi Abdul Jamal, when contacted on March 9, stated that, to date, no report has been made concerning the incident.
Meanwhile, Johor Bahru South district police chief Raub Selamat said police are currently investigating the matter.
