Vitor Pereria was fuming at the way his Wolves side gifted possession back to Everton.
Jack Harrison ended his lengthy goal drought at Everton, scoring the opener at Molineux before Wolves hit back through Marshall Munetsi in what would prove to be the final goal of the game in a 1-1 draw.
Both sides were wasteful in possession at times, while failing to take chances when they arrived with both goalkeepers called into a couple of big saves towards the latter stages of the game.
However, Pereria was particularly displeased with what his right back, Doherty, did against the Toffees.

The clash at Molineux was devoid of quality for the majority of the 90 minutes, though one moment in particular caused Pereira to showcase his frustration on the sideline.

Just as Wolves were starting to get a foothold in the game, Doherty found himself in possession before launching a needless long pass straight through to Jordan Pickford, leaving Pereira animated.
Lucy Ward, when commentating via TNT Sports (8 March, 8:30pm), said: “Too many of those balls are being played, and it aggravates the crowd a little, and it aggravates Pereria.

A series of missed passes would be the tale of the game from there on out, with both sides having to settle for a point.

Everton extend unbeaten run v Wolves
At this stage in the campaign, the most important thing is to maintain momentum and form, which, despite failing to take all three points, Everton can see as a mission passed.
It means that the Toffees are now unbeaten in their last five encounters, despite missing several key first team players, and any relegation fears are slowly fading away for Everton.
While that is a positive for the team, Harrison’s goal will do him the world of good, given the fact he has had a fairly troubled time as an Everton player.
Heading into the international break, David Moyes‘ side have an excellent foundation to keep building on to ensure that they finish the season as strongly as possible.
