Mohamed Salah was once again the hero for Liverpool this weekend as the winger scored a brace against Southampton to secure another win for the Reds.
Two penalties were enough to help the Anfield side overturn a 1-0 deficit at half-time into a 3-1 win, with Salah breaking two more Liverpool records in the process as the 32-year-old went level with Sergio Aguero in the all-time Premier League goalscoring charts.
Whilst Salah was full of praise for Darwin Nunez after the full-time whistle, Liverpool fans and pundits all still know that the Egyptian international was the main difference-maker for the Reds against Southampton this weekend.
And Micah Richards has now shared a dream Salah has now achieved after telling the former Manchester City defender during their time together at ACF Fiorentina.

Mohamed Salah’s ‘dream’ was to always play for Liverpool
Speaking on Match of the Day, the pundit shared how Salah’s ‘dream’ was to always play for Liverpool, a move that the winger eventually won in 2017 with the attacker since going on to become a legend for the Reds.
With Arsenal legend Robert Pires naming Salah as one of his favourite wingers, the former AS Roma and Chelsea man will go down as one of the greatest attackers the Premier League has ever seen once the forward calls time on his Liverpool career.
And Richards has now noted how Salah’s dream was to always play for Liverpool, with the former City star saying about the Anfield no. 11: “We talk about him so many times, but he’s just breathtaking.
“When I say he’s breathtaking, it’s not because he has a great game all the time, it’s because he scores, he’s clinical, he punishes you all the time. When I was Fiorentina with him, he always said his dream was to play for Liverpool, and he’s living out that dream now.”

Could Mohamed Salah leave Liverpool at the end of this season?
Slaven Bilic recently shared how close Salah came to leaving Liverpool last year, with Saudi Arabia a constant worry for the Reds in regards to their star attacker and how the lure of the Middle East could become too much this summer.
Yet with Liverpool ‘positive’ that Salah will sign a new contract, there could soon be some definitive news that the winger will commit his future to the Anfield side having enjoyed his best season ever for the Merseyside giants.
Indeed, Salah leaving Liverpool after the sort of season the attacker has had would be nothing short of sacrilege for the Premier League leaders, and the forward himself seems keen to remain in England, especially with Arne Slot taking his game to new levels.
