Everton have moved ever closer to Premier League safety, securing a third successive draw at the weekend against Wolves.
Despite losing a lead given to them by Jack Harrison who impressed at Molineux, the Toffees will take the point against Vitor Pereira’s side scrapping for their lives.
Thanks to the inspired turnaround since David Moyes’ comeback to Goodison Park, Everton are now clear of the predicament Wolves find themselves battling.

Gary Lineker shocked by Moyes statistic
Everton will be relatively satisfied with the sole point from their trip to Wolverhampton on Saturday (8 March), though did open the scoring through Harrison – who will have needed that goal for his personal confidence.
Chances were later passed up by the Toffees including for Beto, who was denied late on by Jose Sa’s excellent low diving save.

However, Moyes’ side did enough to stretch their unbeaten run to eight games, which BBC Match of the Day host Lineker revealed (8 March) pencils in a new statistic for the manager.
“David Moyes [is] now unbeaten in eight at Everton,” the host stated to panellists Joe Hart and Micah Richards.
“Do you know the last time Moyes managed that as a manager, was when he was at Everton the first time?
“It’s an extraordinary run.”
Moyes’ previous 11-year tenure was famous for European qualifications, cup finals and the status of Everton as a fearsome force, a feeling that has albeit briefly been rekindled among the supporters ahead of an exciting summer in prospect.
The Toffees have not lost in the league under Moyes since the 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa back in January which heightened relegation fears at the time, and are unbeaten away from home under the returning manager in all competitions.

Everton have five left at Goodison Park
Everton have turned their season around since the new regime began their duty, The Friedkin Group wasting little time in moulding things how they want them for their long-term vision.
Moyes is keen not only to solidify the Toffees as a Premier League outfit, but also take them to their previous heights and look to compete for major silverware.
In the meantime, the emotion among the fans as the games at Goodison Park whittle down before closing its doors for good is rising.

Next up back in L4 is West Ham United next Saturday (15 March), with whom the Blues sit level on points – albeit with Moyes’ former Conference League-winning Hammers still to play Newcastle United on Monday.
