Gary Neville spotted in new role just hours before Man Utd vs Arsenal

A Premier League legend has made a drastic career change. Manchester United legend Gary Neville was spotted performing with popular rock band The Reytons during their UK tour.

The Sky Sports pundit hit the stage during the Rotherham rockers' gig at Aviva Studios in Manchester on Saturday. He was alongside fellow band members Jonny Yerrell, Joe O'Brien and Jamie Todd.

A video posted on X saw Neville having the time of his life, jumping up and down with a smile from ear to ear. He played bass, and was a stand-in for Lee Holland, who suffered an apparent injury.

Last September it was revealed the ex-England international would be joining up with The Reytons for a series of live dates during their Right Back At It UK tour in 2025.

A skit was shared on social media confirming Neville's 'new job', with the four-piece auditioning him for the role. After undergoing various suitability tests, he admitted "I've never played bass in my life," to which they reply "You're in."

The Reytons kicked off the tour at London's O2 Academy on February 7, before visiting Blackpool Tower, The Academy in Dublin and Aviva Studios in Manchester. Their last performance is at Glasgow's SWG3 Galvanizers Yard.
