Dubai: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced a series of accessibility enhancements to accommodate people of determination and elderly worshippers during Ramadan.
Special prayer areas have been designated across the mosque, equipped with Qurans and Zamzam water.

For men with disabilities, allocated spaces include the first floor near Gate 91, the first floor opposite Shubaika Bridge at Gate 68, the southern courtyard near Ajyad Bridge, the western courtyard at Shubaika, and two locations in the Saudi Third Expansion near Gate 123.
Women’s prayer areas have been designated at Gate 88 on the ground floor, Gate 65 on the first floor in Shubaika, Prayer Area 15 overlooking the Kaaba, the southern courtyard at Ajyad Bridge, the western courtyard at Shubaika, and the eastern courtyard.

Service areas are now clearly labeled with directional signs, and both manual and electric carts are available for visitors requiring mobility assistance.
