Everton are one of the clubs to have identified Rangers’ Hamza Igamane as a target ahead of the summer window.
That’s at least what Africa Foot are reporting, and they cover Everton’s interest in the 22-year-old.
He impressed for Rangers this season, scoring 13 goals and registered two assists from 35 matches.
The striker’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed as clubs in the UK and across Europe have taken notice. According to the report, this includes Everton, Sevilla and Marseille.
Sevilla sent their scouts to follow him in action for Rangers and the reports received have convinced them to bet on the Morocco U23 international for next season.
The La Liga club have to be wary as Marseille also want him, and the duo have expressed their desire to sign Igamane.
The report adds the Toffees have ‘joined the race’ with two other clubs to snatch Igamane from Rangers in the next window. That’s all they have to say about Everton.
Africa Foot points out Transfermarkt currently values the Rangers attacker at €2.5m. His contract lasts until 2029, and the Scottish champions will certainly need much more than that to consider sanctioning his sale.
