KABUL(BNA): Hamas has called on Arab and Islamic countries to increase support for Gaza and take serious steps to counter what it describes as the Zionist regime’s plans. The appeal follows an expression of solidarity from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
A Hamas spokesperson urged regional nations to work together in resolving the Palestinian issue and to take decisive action to thwart what it called the Zionist regime’s strategies. He stressed that a united effort is needed to block Israeli policies aimed at further displacing Palestinians and undermining their cause.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister’s office announced that a diplomatic delegation will visit Doha on Monday to advance the second phase of ceasefire negotiations with Hamas.
Hamas leaders have outlined three key conditions for an extended truce: a guarantee against future Israeli military action, a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and a prisoner exchange agreement.
