Tyler Dibling could swap Southampton for Tottenham this summer.
Spurs have struggled this season, with the North London club sat 13th in the Premier League and at risk of being eliminated from the UEFA Europa League.
As a result, Postecoglou could be sacked by Daniel Levy. However, amid all of Spurs’ struggles, there have been some shining lights for the club this season, mostly in the form of young players.
Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have both been afforded consistent opportunities in the first team this season, while 17-year-old Mikey Moore is also a regular part of the senior squad.
And the chances handed to these teenagers could help to lure Dibling from Southampton to Spurs.

As reported by Ben Jacobs via GiveMeSport (7 March), Dibling is open to joining Tottenham.
Jacobs said, “Spurs have already made contact with Dibling’s camp and believe he is sold on the project, while there is also confidence that [Ange] Postecoglou is the right manager to further develop his game.”
Southampton have slapped a £50million price tag on Dibling, although Tottenham are confident of agreeing a deal at the £30-35million price point.

Dibling has been a regular for Southampton in the Premier League
However, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – thinks the North London club have signed one too many young players in recent seasons, and doesn’t see the point of adding Dibling to their ranks.
“Tottenham have already gone out and bought quite a few young players recently,” King said.
“They have also got plenty of talented young players coming through their academy. Therefore, I can’t see the necessity to sign Dibling at this moment in time. They’ve got enough young players on the verge of playing first team football.
“As a result, why bring in more players who could hinder chances for players already at the club. Dibling would probably block another player’s path to the first team. You don’t want to hinder opportunities for the likes of Dane Scarlett, Moore, Gray, Bergvall. These aren’t exactly old players.”

Tottenham need to make room for Dibling
If Dibling is to be signed, one or two young players will probably need to be moved on at Tottenham.
Therefore, the decision to sign the Southampton ace will come down to how highly Spurs rate him. If they want him badly enough, they need to make room. Otherwise, it could get very crowded in North London.
