Vatican officials added that doctors are refraining from making any definitive statements about the Pope’s overall recovery until his improvement is confirmed over the coming days.
Yesterday, Pope Francis prayed in the chapel adjacent to his room, received Holy Communion, and later in the afternoon, rested and attended to matters concerning the Roman Catholic Church.
The Vatican continues to monitor his health closely and remains hopeful for a steady recovery.
