Callum Hudson-Odoi got a lot of Chelsea fans on social media talking on Saturday following Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win against Manchester City.
It was Hudson-Odoi, who joined Forest from Chelsea in 2023, who scored his side’s winning goal at the City Ground.
That victory means Nuno Espirito Santo’s men stay in third, while Chelsea now have the chance to move up to fourth with a win Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea fans react to Callum Hudson-Odoi’s performance against Manchester City
Hudson-Odoi achieved a lot at Chelsea, winning both the Champions League and Europa League.
On an individual level, he probably could have achieved more had it not been for a serious injury he picked up back in 2019. However, the winger is fully fit today and now thriving at Forest.

Hudson-Odoi could end up helping Nuno’s side finish above Chelsea, but plenty of Blues fans are still happy to see him shining.
One Chelsea supporter said as much on X, posting: “My boy Hudson-Odoi is finally shining.”
Another simply said: “Hudson-Odoi, I Love You.”
One fan was really delighted after seeing the England international score against City, saying: “Watching Ola Aina & Callum Hudson-Odoi shining over at Nottingham Forest brings such a smile to my face, that post-match interview from them both was a great watch too!”
And another Chelsea supporter thinks Hudson-Odoi would get into Enzo Maresca‘s current team easily: “Kinda crazy how Callum Hudson-Odoi immediately walks into the Chelsea first team with ease.”
Last September, Hudson-Odoi spoke about his Chelsea exit, claiming that he really needed to get out of Stamford Bridge.

After that performance, a lot of Chelsea’s critics will be questioning why the club decided to sell him.
It is hindsight, but with Mykhailo Mudryk currently suspended and failing to make an impact since arriving at Chelsea and Jadon Sancho out of form, it would be great if Maresca had a left winger like Hudson-Odoi right now.
