Ange Postecoglou has made six changes to his Tottenham team to face Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.
Spurs served up a woeful showing on Thursday night in Alkmaar in the Europa League last 16 first leg defeat at AZ, with just one shot on target which appeared to be a miss-hit cross from Wilson Odobert. Now the Cherries come to town having had eight days to prepare for the game against Postecoglou's team.
The Australian did not use the returning Cristian Romero or Micky van de Ven on Thursday due to concerns about the pitch in Alkmaar and the risk of another re-injury and the Argentine returns to the starting line-up against Bournemouth as captain with the Dutchman on the bench and expected to get minutes.
Dominic Solanke returned to the action on Thursday but suffered a painful knee to his backside from the AZ goalkeeper. However, he has been deemed fit to start his first game since January and will be looking to score against his old side.
Elsewhere, Postecoglou has made changes in defence, midfield and attack to freshen up his team with Son Heung-min and James Maddison coming out of the team along with Destiny Udogie.
Here's the Tottenham team Postecoglou has selected to face Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Danso, Spence; Bentancur, Bissouma, Sarr; Johnson, Solanke, Odobert. Subs: Kinsky, Udogie, Van de Ven, Gray, Bergvall, Maddison, Son, Tel, Scarlett.
