Pep Guardiola has reportedly jetted on a secret trip to Spain to try and save his marriage.
Guardiola, 54, watched his Manchester City side lose, again, on Saturday afternoon as Callum Hudson-Odoi sent the City Ground into dreamland with a late strike to put one foot in next season's Champions League.
And while Guardiola tries to save City's season, the Catalan has also been trying to save his marriage. According to The Sun, he has “not given up hope on his marriage” despite a divorce announcement in January.
With City having seven days off between their FA Cup win over Plymouth Argyle and loss to Nottingham Forest, Guardiola returned to Barcelona.
A source told the outlet: “They spent three nights together in Barcelona, both staying at the family home.

“Pep went out on Monday to the dentist and Cristina went to her fashion shop in the city centre. They met up again at the shop and spent three hours there before returning to the house to spend the evening together.
“Pep left for Manchester on Tuesday morning.”
Reports back in January from Spanish outlet Sport claimed they have been living apart for nearly five years after Cristina, 52, moved back to Barcelona to run her fashion company.

Guardiola and Cristina are believed to have met in her family's clothes store called Serra Claret - when he was just 18 and modelling for designer Antonio Miro in the shop.
In Janaury 2024, Guardiola joked she helps him pick out his matchday outfits. He told Men In Blazers: "My wife is the best in the world at many things, but especially in fashion.
"So she says normally to me, don't wear this or wear that, so I follow her. I am smart enough to know that when people are much much better than me, follow their advices, and hers is really good."
