Liverpool might still pocket a transfer fee for Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer, despite his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Alexander-Arnold has been with the Reds since he was just six, but now there's rumours about him making a move to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos tried to sign Alexander-Arnold in the January transfer window, but Liverpool scoffed at their £20million bid.
It seemed like that was the last chance for the Premier League team to make a bit of cash off the Englishman, as he'll be free to sign with any club once his Anfield contract is up.
But thanks to a surprising rule change by FIFA, Liverpool might still get a payday from Alexander-Arnold before his contract officially ends on June 30.

Real Madrid reportedly want Alexander-Arnold for the Club World Cup in the States this summer, and FIFA's given the thumbs up for a mini-transfer window before the tournament for competing clubs.
This would let teams beef up their squads between the domestic season's close and the tournament's kick-off, slated for June 15.
With only 15 days between the tournament's first match and Alexander-Arnold's contract end, it's doubtful Real Madrid would shell out big bucks to bring him in early. But for Liverpool, some cash is better than none, reports the Express.

That's if Alexander-Arnold is even considering a move away from the club. Manager Arne Slot isn't throwing in the towel just yet on keeping the ace at the club, hinting at a possible last-minute deal.
Pressed about the future of Alexander-Arnold, as well as contract rebels Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, Slot earlier this year disclosed: "I speak to them a lot. It would be ridiculous if we had never spoken about the future.
But that is not something I am going to discuss with you. It is not only with the three who are out of contract. It's a non-stop process talking to your players."
