Man Utd host Arsenal FC in the Premier League fixture on Sunday afternoon.
Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte were not spotted arriving at Old Trafford ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Arsenal in the Premier League. United are back in action when they host their traditional rivals on Sunday afternoon and Ruben Amorim could have limited options available to him.
Maguire and Ugarte both missed the midweek draw with Real Sociedad in the Europa League and were considered to be doubts for selection against Arsenal. It is not clear if either of them will be involved after they were not spotted in the club's official arrival imagery.
United are certain to be without the suspended Patrick Dorgu as he serves the second of a three-match domestic ban, though Chido Obi will be available after he was ineligible to feature against Sociedad in midweek. Obi and Ayden Heaven are both set to be named in the squad against their former side after they both swapped Arsenal for Old Trafford.
Manchester United confirmed squad members vs Arsenal
Manchester United confirmed 15 squad members ahead of the Arsenal fixture when the players arrived at Old Trafford on Sunday lunchtime. Manuel Ugarte and Harry Maguire were not spotted in the main group that arrived at the stadium, though it has not been confirmed whether they arrived separately.
Speaking ahead of the Arsenal clash, he told reporters in midweek: "I don't know. I don't know. We need to survive Sunday. The team was so tired in the last 20 minutes. We have to prepare for Sunday and then think about this important game in our season on Thursday. But, in this moment, I don't know.
"Everybody can start. If they are training tomorrow [Friday], if they played today [Thursday], they can be ready. Chido is on the list, so he can play. We are trying to see all the players that are fresh and that are not in danger of getting an injury. Even that, we have to risk a little but we have to be competitive on Sunday."
Squad members (not final list)
Andre Onana, Dermot Mee; Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, Victor Lindelof, Ayden Heaven; Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Toby Collyer, Bruno Fernandes; Alejandro Garnacho, Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund.
