The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the resolutions adopted by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during its 20th extraordinary session, particularly concerning Palestine and Syria. In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa reiterated the MWL’s strong support for the OIC’s stance on Palestine until a just and lasting peace is achieved, ensuring the full rights of the Palestinian people.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa also praised the decision of the member states’ foreign ministers to reinstate Syria’s membership in the OIC, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to support the Syrian people and government in overcoming challenges and restoring security and stability in the country.
