Even before former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady left Foxboro, Massachusetts, or hung up his cleats for good, he has put his hands in multiple business ventures.
That included his TB12 health and fitness business, and his post-NFL playing career has since included broadcasting with FOX and part ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders. Brady still does numerous non-football ventures, and his latest has taken a new twist - used car salesman.
Hertz announced on Tuesday that Brady will sponsor the auto company's used car sales line. Brady appears in an ad for Hertz, which is now on YouTube.
"Tom Brady might be collecting jobs like he collected championship rings, but he's proving to be a genuine MVP in the used car game," Hertz executive vice president of sales Jeff Adams said in a press release.
"He's showcasing our vehicles with the same precision he showed on the field – and why premium vehicles like the Cadillac XT5 offer that perfect blend of luxury and reliability," Adams added. "When it comes to delivering value to customers, Brady's definitely a pro."
Before his NFL retirement in 2022, Brady played for the Patriots from 2000 to 2019, winning six Super Bowls. He left New England as a free agent in 2020 and concluded his career with a three-year stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won a seventh Super Bowl.
