CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -Myles Garrett and The Cleveland Browns have agreed to 4-year contract extension through the 2030 season.
This comes after Garrett asked for a trade just [earlier this year](https://www.cleveland19.com/2025/02/25/our-stance-trading-myles-garrett-has-not-changed-andrew-berry-doubles-down-myles-garrett/).
According to a press release from the Browns Garrett is “Poised to lead the Browns to those wins and the defense to high levels of success for the foreseeable future”.
ESPN is reporting the deal averages $40 million per year and includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money.
They also state there is a no-trade clause.
This Makes Garrett the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
