The Los Angeles Lakers saw their eight-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday night in a 111-101 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Unfortunately, Lakers superstar LeBron James left the game in the fourth quarter with a groin injury.
On Sunday morning, it was reported that James will miss 1-to-2 weeks with the groin injury.
While that's a tough blow for the surging Lakers, there is a positive update that came out of it, as ESPN's Shams Charania pointed out.
"Typically with these soft tissue injuries it leads to weeks-long absences and it could be a potentially extended period of time here for LeBron James," Charania said.
'Unlike in 2018, when LeBron James had that groin tear, I'm told he did not hear a pop last night in Boston," Charania added.
Charania added the Lakers have an "ability to have caution" with James since they are now third in the Western Conference.

The positive news here is that James did not hear a pop on Saturday night against the Celtics, which would rule out a groin tear.
In 2018-19, James suffered a groin tear and missed 27 games in his first season with the Lakers.
This time, it's a good sign that he did not hear a pop, which means he should be able to return at some point.
The initial timeframe is 1-to-2 weeks, although James will undergo further evaluation to see the further extent of the injury.
