United join Premier League Summer Series

The club has played pre-season fixtures in the US for the last two years but will compete in the Summer Series for the first time ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

United’s first of three fixtures will be against West Ham United in New Jersey. The clash will see the Reds return to the MetLife Stadium for the first time since a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in 2023.

Next, the team will travel to Chicago to face Bournemouth at Soldier Field, one of the oldest and most famous stadiums in the National Football League. United have made several previous outings at Soldier Field, including in 2011 against Chicago Fire – a fixture which saw the David De Gea wear the United shirt for the first time, the Spaniard went on to make the most appearances of any goalkeeper in the club’s history.

The final Summer Series fixture will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, against Everton, marking United's first-ever game in the US state of Georgia.
