Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of a young Premier League centre-back just got a lot harder, with reports now revealing what the player is now expected to do in the summer as multiple elite European clubs join the queue for his signature.
Tottenham bolstered their backline with the addition of Kevin Danso from Lens in January, but the North London club are being backed to add further reinforcements in central defence when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Over recent weeks, a number of outlets have suggested that Spurs have already spoken to Dean Huijsen’s representatives about a summer move because they have been left impressed by his performance this season.
However, a new update has now suggested that Ange Postecoglou’s men may struggle to win the race for the 19-year-old.

The Daily Mail have now provided an update on Dean Huijsen’s future, confirming that Tottenham are one of the clubs circling over the teenager right now.
The outlet reveals that Chelsea and Newcastle are also keen on securing the Bournemouth man, but the Premier League trio have now been joined in the race for the defender by the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
In fact, the report claims that there is a ‘growing sense’ in the South Coast that the former Juventus man will join one of ‘the continent’s elite clubs’ when he eventually leaves the South Coast.
