David Moyes shared a joke about the kick off time before Everton battled to a 1-1 draw against Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Toffees travelled to Molineux on 8 March for an 8 pm kick-off and came away with a point after the hosts came from behind.
Everton took the lead through Jack Harrison in the 33rd minute but just seven minutes later, Marshall Munetsi levelled the scores.

Andy Bu rnham attacks Premier League decision
Although the Blues would have been disappointed to concede, Moyes has continued his unbeaten run with Everton as they continue to look away from the relegation zone.
Against a Wolves side who are battling against going down to the Championship, some will feel as though Everton should have done better on Saturday.

However, the Blues have moved to 15th in the table, sitting 16 points clear of the drop zone and 10 clear of Wolves in 17th.

Everton 15 -4 33

Current Premier League table
It wasn’t the football that caught the eye of Burnham on Saturday though as he questioned a decision that had been taken by the Premier League.
The Manchester Mayor hit out at the kick-off time as he posted on X: “This should be the very last Premier League game to kick off at 8 pm on a Saturday.
“Zero regard shown for the travelling supporters.”

Premier League making it hard for their teams
The Toffees will be pleased with the current position they find themselves in having seen a significant upturn in form since the arrival of Moyes.
The Scotsman won’t be allowing his side to get comfortable until anything is mathematically confirmed but it seems as though any threat of relegation in Merseyside is minimal this season.
Burnham is right that the constant change in schedule from the Premier League is not helping the teams or the supporters.
Admittedly, this wasn’t the worst journey to be changed, but it does take the entirety of the evening out for the supporters who could automatically be in for a late night after such changes.
Furthermore, players have been open about how their preparation for games differs with a change of kick-off time, and a constant change cannot be easy for the squad to adapt to either.
Luckily for Everton, they have the time to rest before their next game on Saturday (15 March) against West Ham which does kick-off at 3 pm.
With the two sides currently level on points, Moyes’ return to his former side could prove to be a crucial result in Everton’s season.
