West Ham United need to sign an elite striker in the summer transfer window, but the former Everton man surely doesn’t fit into that category.
Graham Potter brought Evan Ferguson to West Ham in the January window.
However, it has been claimed that it’s unlikely West Ham will sign Ferguson permanently in the summer.
So Potter will have to start eyeing up alternative targets to bring to the London Stadium.
And it seems like that’s exactly what the Hammers head coach is doing.

The problem is, the man Potter allegedly wants to bring in would be an extremely risky signing in my opinion.
And he won’t come cheap either…
West Ham want to sign Moise Kean for £43.6 million
According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham are plotting a move to bring Moise Kean back to the Premier League in the summer.
The 25-year-old has a £43.6 million release clause inserted into his contract with Fiorentina.

West Ham were linked with a move to sign Moise Kean in the summer, but he joined Fiorentina from Juventus in the end.
And he has been in brilliant form for La Viola, with 19 goals and three assists in 32 games in all competitions (Transfermarkt).

However, his previous struggles in the Premier League would make signing Kean for that kind of money an enormous risk for West Ham.
West Ham signing Moise Kean would be a huge risk
He spent time with Everton before returning to Italy after a torrid spell at Goodison Park.
Kean bagged just four goals in 39 games for Everton during his time in England, and he really struggled to acclimatise to the speed and intensity of Premier League football.
If West Ham really want to sign a top-class striker this summer, Potter should be going all out for Jonathan David – he’s available on a free transfer as well!
Splashing out nearly £44 million on Moise Kean this summer would be a big mistake from West Ham as far as I’m concerned.
Funds are tight at the London Stadium anyway, so I just can’t see us spending that much money on someone who hasn’t proved himself in the Premier League.
