West Ham Zone Speaking to Martin Allen

West Ham skipper Jarrod Bowen has continuously shown his worth at the London Stadium.
The England international is the man that the Hammers can consistently rely on regardless of who the manager is.
Even with a lengthy injury lay off this campaign, the 28-year-old still has the most goal involvements in the Irons’ squad, which says as much about him as his teammates.
With that being said, it comes as little surprise that conversations about him following Declan Rice out of East London continue to come up.

West Ham would demand £100m+ for Bowen
There is no doubt that the forward is easily the most important player in E20 and would be a huge miss if he were to depart for another Premier League side.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
With that being said, the likes of Ben Foster remain unsure whether Bowen would be good enough for the likes of Arsenal.
With the lack of goals in Mikel Arteta’s side, this feels like a strange comment although many Hammers fans want to keep their captain’s qualities under the radar.
Ex-Irons midfielder Martin Allen knows exactly how good the former Hereford man is and believes he could play for any one of the top sides in the Premier League.
“He’s absolutely key to West Ham,” Allen exclusively told West Ham Zone.
“Who could he play for? He could play for Liverpool, for sure. He could definitely play for Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle.
“He gets goals, an attacking right-sided player who scores goals and these sorts of players are gold dust and they win you matches.
“Jarrod Bowen wins you the game, so any manager would want him, he’s that good.
“He could play for any team. I wouldn’t sell him, but they’ve already sold Declan Rice for £105m and he’s a very good player but he’s not a match winner.
“*With Bowen you know he’s going to win you games so I would say he’s worth at least £100m, that’s the sort of price I would be looking at.*“

West Ham must keep Bowen at any cost
So far this campaign, the ex-Hull City star has contributed to 11 goals which beats out any of his teammates by at least four.
This importance is certainly missed when he isn’t on the field and that is only proven by the Hammers’ all-time goal scorer list alongside a club legend like Mark Noble in the Premier League.
Goals scored Name Years
1. 68 Michail Antonio (2015-Present)
2. 50 Jarrod Bowen (2020-Present)
3=. 47 Paolo Di Canio (1999-2003)
3=. 47 Mark Noble (2005-2022)
5. 41 Carlton Cole (2006-2015)
West Ham all-time Premier League top scorers
There is little doubt that the record will eventually belong to Bowen instead of Michail Antonio as he cements himself in Irons folklore.
This will ultimately depend on what sort of impact comes his way and whether a move to a “better” side would appeal in the coming transfer windows.
