1.The EU is unequivocally committed to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU perspective asa single, united and sovereign country. The EU urges all political actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina to refrain from and renounce provocative divisive rhetoric and actions, including questioning the constitutional order, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the country.2.We note ODIHR's and RFoM's deep concern over the adoption of the Law on the Special Registry and Publicity of the Work of Non-Profit Organisations by the parliament of Republika Srpska. Respect for human rights, freedom of expression, media freedom and pluralism, as well as an environment enabling civil societyorganisations to freely operate are key pillars of a democratic society.
3.Following the decision of the European Council in March 2024 to open EU accession negotiations, we encourage all political actors to focus on the EU path, for the benefit of BiH citizens.
