An NBA superstar is coming to Windsor in April for the 18th annual WESPY Awards.
Hall of famer Julius Erving, also known as Dr. J, will be the keynote speaker at the event.
The awards will honour athletes in the region who have excelled during the athletic year.
“It’s just an incredible night of celebrating Windsor-Essex in different ways,” said Domenic Papa, WESPY Awards founder.
“Sports really get put front and center that night, which is what we want. That’s what this is all about.”
The award ceremony will take place in April at the Caboto Club.
