'No chance': Mikel Arteta reacts after Arsenal's 1-1 draw vs Man Utd

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent his reaction following the 1-1 Premier League draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford today.

The Gunners dominated proceedings in the opening half, but they lacked the cutting edge in the final third. Bruno Fernandes eventually broke the deadlock for the Red Devils with a sensational free-kick before half-time.

Declan Rice put the Gunners level in the final quarter of the game, but they could have lost it thereafter. Rice made a superb last-ditch clearance while David Raya made a stupendous double save to deny United.

Speaking after the stalemate, Arteta said that the Gunners had no chance to lose the game, but they opened the gate with several defensive errors.

He said: "We opened the gate to lose the game. there was no chance to lose the game and we opened it ourselves. I will defend my players all the time but in those moments we have to do better."

With the draw, Arsenal are 15 points behind Liverpool for the top spot in the table. They have a game in hand against Chelsea.
