Arch Manning needs no introduction.
The nephew of former NFL greats Peyton and Eli Manning began to take the college football world by storm when he was ranked a five-star prospect and the No. 1 overall player in the nation for the 2023 recruiting class.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has had a long-term relationship with Manning and is a primary reason the famed signal-caller chose to play for the Longhorns. While Manning could have started for just about any powerhouse program in the country as a true freshman, he trusted Sarkisian's process and developed behind Quinn Ewers for two seasons.
Manning will be Texas' full-time starter in 2025 and is already viewed as one of the most notable athletes in the state at any level. The Heisman Trophy frontrunner for next fall landed at No. 10 on FOX Sports' ranking of the most notable athletes in the state of Texas.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott took the No. 1 spot on the list followed by the San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama. Other notable names on the list include Micah Parsons, Jose Altuve and Anthony Davis. It's worth noting that Manning is the only collegiate player within the top-10.
