Mateo Retegui broke the deadlock in Juventus-Atlanta by converting a penalty kick caused by a Weston McKennie handball.

Atalanta took the lead against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday thanks to the league’s leading scorer, Retegui.

The Italy international converted a spot-kick at minute 29 after a lengthy VAR check.

American midfielder McKennie caused the penalty kick with a clumsy handball, and VAR confirmed Simone Sozza’s decision from the pitch.
