The Golden State Warriors have been on an incredible run lately, improving to 36-28 after their hard-fought 115-110 win over the Detroit Pistons.
With the addition of Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline, the Warriors have gone 11-2 in their last 13 games, climbing their way back into contention for a higher seed in the Western Conference.
Stephen Curry has continued to lead the charge, scoring 32 points against the Pistons to surpass 25,000 career points, while Draymond Green has anchored their defensive efforts.
Curry is the 26th player in NBA history to attain this milestone.
Steve Kerr makes Jimmy Butler statement after recent win
After the game, head coach Kerr took the opportunity to talk about Butler and why he has earned the name "Playoff Jimmy."
"Playoff Jimmy is a real thing. Some ways that felt like a playoff game… Guys like Jimmy really thrive in these type of games," Kerr said.

Butler's impact was evident on both ends of the court, as he contributed 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. His ability to thrive in physical, intense matchups has already made a mark on the Warriors.
Butler's arrival has added a new dimension to Golden State's roster, providing leadership, toughness, and a playoff-tested mentality.
He was known for his ability to elevate his game when it mattered most with the Miami Heat, even taking them to the postseason a few times just by sheer will.
Let's not forget that the Heat eliminated the Boston Celtics with not much more than Butler and a few good players but no true superstars.
Butler's presence complements Curry's attack and Green's defensive mindset. The Warriors' recent success reflects the balance and depth that Butler has helped create.
For now, "Playoff Jimmy" is living up to the hype in the Bay Area. Let's see if it continues.
