Bills Rumors Link 4-Time Pro Bowl Pass-Rusher in Trade

The Buffalo Bills need some pass-rushing help this offseason, with many citing that position as a big need if the franchise is to break through its playoff ceiling.

With Von Miller being released as a cap casualty and Myles Garrett now sensationally re-signing with the Cleveland Browns, the Bills' big swing could take them in a different direction.

While it might seem odd that the Bills could still go after a stud pass rusher after just clearing the decks with Miller's release (saved $8.4 million), but if the franchise is serious about getting over that playoff hump, then perhaps a big move is coming.

So why not look toward a fellow AFC rival who has incredibly allowed one of their best players to seek a trade in Cincinnati Bengals' stud Trey Hendrickson?

While Trey has made it clear he would prefer to remain a Bengal, with the franchise seeming unable or unwilling to extend him, he can now see what is out there.

And the Bills could be a team interested. ... according to rumors creating a link here.

Now, the question is the salary. Per Spotrac.com, Hendrickson has a base salary of $15.8 million in 2025 and is then due to become a free agent in 2026. So, Buffalo could be on the hook for two things here.

The draft capital is needed to get Trey, plus they would likely need to sign him to a new long-term contract, which is Maxx Crosby's recent extension is anything to go by. A player who recorded 17.5 sacks in back-to-back seasons will fetch north of $35 million APY.

Could the Bills stomach that? It does seem unlikely, but this is the NFL, and stranger things have happened.

But if Buffalo is serious about getting that Super Bowl, Hendrickson is "available," and at least a phone call to the Bengals to gauge interest needs to happen.
