Saquon Barkley Reveals Exciting News on Sunday

Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles climbed the NFL mountaintop last season, earning themselves the Super Bowl title.

The Eagles finished the season with an 18-3 record, defeating the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders en route to the title game.

They eventually defeated the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and hoisted the Lombardi Trophy, with the help of Barkley.

The Eagles running back signed with Philadelphia in the offseason after six years with the New York Giants.

After an incredible season in Philadelphia, Barkley was awarded the key to the city in the Lehigh Valley region, the city of Allentown in Pennsylvania.

While Barkley has already established himself as an Eagles legend, leading Philadelphia to the Super Bowl in his first season with the organization, he also has strong roots in the state of Pennsylvania.

Barkley attended high school at Whitehall Township in Pennsylvania. He also spent a few years with the Penn State Nittany Lions, before being drafted by the New York Giants in 2018.

During his lone season with the Eagles, Barkley recorded 13 touchdowns and 2,005 yards, leading the NFL in rushing yards and earning himself the Offensive Player of the Year award.
