Apart from debuting her new hairstyle on social media, ESPN reporter Laura Rutledge spent the weekend bonding with her family. The veteran sportscaster shared multiple posts of her kids, 5-year-old Reese and 1-year-old Jack, having fun with the children of ESPN colleague Field Yates in what appeared to be a slumber party.
Laura Rutledge also shared a brief video of her husband Josh Rutledge playing with their kids as she watched from a distance. The renowned reporter captured the special moment between the kids and their dad, and Rutledge could not help but react to the same.
She sent a heartfelt four-word message to her better half.

Josh Rutledge, a former infielder for the Boston Red Sox and the Colorado Rockies, is seen in the video pushing the kids on a lakeside swing. It looked like the children were having a blast, and Dad was more than happy to indulge them.
Laura Rutledge was clearly moved by the special family moment, which prompted a public profession of love for her better half.
Being one of the top sportscasters in the industry today, Rutledge has to deal with an extremely busy work schedule. She has always been grateful for how her husband has taken on the primary role of taking care of the kids whenever she's away for work -- which is a lot.
Every now and again, Laura Rutledge posts these types of loving messages for her husband to show just how much she appreciates him and what he does.
