Bucks React to Big Giannis Antetokounmpo News

While much of the attention surrounding the NBA MVP conversation focuses on Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is producing yet another incredible season.

The Bucks entered a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference standings with a 36-26 record.

During the matchup against the Cavaliers, Antetokounmpo earned a spot on the NBA's Top 50 all-time scoring list.

Antetokounmpo is now No. 50 on the list, passing league legend Tom Chambers, who recorded 20,049 points during his NBA career.

Heading into the game on Sunday, Antetokounmpo was averaging 30.9 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

Antetokounmpo ranks No. 2 in points per game, trailing Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, who is currently averaging 32.8 points per game.

Antetokounmpo continues to add to his incredible NBA resume at 30 years old.

Throughout his 12-year NBA career, Antetokounmpo has achieved the following accomplishments: two-time MVP, 2019-20 Defensive Player of the Year, 2016-17 Most Improved Player, five-time All-Defensive team, 2021 NBA champion, 2021 Finals MVP, eight-time All-NBA and nine-time All-Star.

After a matchup against the Cavaliers on Sunday night, the Bucks will be on the road for a game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
