Donald Trump said Ukraine “may not survive” as the White House put pressure on Volodymyr Zelensky to give up territory to Russia.

US officials are understood to have told the Ukrainian president he must pledge to cede land if he wants the US to lift its ban on weapons and intelligence-sharing.
