Liverpool are creeping closer to regaining the Premier League title as they sit 15 points clear. Arsenal failed to increase the pressure on the Reds after they were forced to settle for a draw against Manchester United.

Arne Slot's side will now see their attention divert to the Champions League, when they take on Paris Saint-Germain with a slender one-goal lead, before the Carabao Cup final at Wembley against Newcastle United.

Many already believe the Reds have wrapped up the Premier League title with 16 points left to earn the crown, should the Gunners win all of their remaining 10 matches. Before Liverpool's next top-flight encounter, which will be the Merseyside derby against Everton on April 2, Arsenal have back-to-back home games against Chelsea and Fulham either side of the international break.

With another one of the biggest games in Slot's tenure at Anfield so far this week, let's see what the media are saying.

Kvaratskhelia stresses PSG quality ahead of Liverpool showdown

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia proved a tricky customer for Andy Robertson and the Liverpool left-hand side last Wednesday. The Georgian's skill, pace and dribbling was problematic but the Reds managed to nullify the danger, with the help of Alisson Becker.

Since their narrow defeat, Luis Enrique and midfielder Vitinha have spoken out with confidence over overturning the deficit at Anfield.

The current PSG side look the most capable of winning the European Cup, a piece of silverware that has evaded them despite their riches. And Kvaratskhelia has become the latest to talk up the clash.

"We had so many opportunities to score in the first game and were the better team," he said. "It was disappointing to lose but we have to prepare ourselves properly for the second game.

"Liverpool are a good team and Anfield is a good ground for them. But we can take a lot of confidence from the way we played and if we are the same in the second game then I think we will score the goals we need."

Guehi to Liverpool move talked up

Liverpool are reportedly 'front of the queue' to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

Amid all the contract talk surrounding the Reds three key players, little has been made of potential additions. There has been speculation over bolstering the defence, namely left-back, as well attacking options following reports of Saudi Arabian interest in striker Darwin Nunez.

However, murmurs have suggested that Slot's side have taken a liking to the Palace skipper. And former goalkeeper Paul Robinson has talked up his quality and how he could fit into the Liverpool side, as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park.

"Liverpool would be a good fit for him,” he told Football Insider. "Palace aren’t going to let him leave on a free, so this is the summer they’re going to cash in and get the money for him.

"There will be 12 months left on his deal and the fee may slightly have dropped – but potentially not because there’s going to be a bidding war. Newcastle were the big bidders last summer, those types of figures are what Crystal Palace are going to look for again.

"Palace have done right by Guehi and Guehi has done right by Palace, so this summer they’ll sit down and agree it’s the time for them to part ways.

"It will depend on where he wants to go, not just in the Premier League because he’s a quality player who will have the pick of a lot of clubs.

"Steve Parish has proven he can drive a hard bargain and he’s going to do it again this summer. Liverpool and Newcastle both want him, but it comes down to who’s prepared to pay the fee.

"A lot of it will be based on PSR and FFP allowances, too. Liverpool, at the moment with the lack of recruitment in the last two windows, are at the front of the queue because they’ve got room to bring players in."
