Leeds United's hopes of securing automatic promotion to the Premier League were dealt a blow with a defeat at the hands of Portsmouth.

United were beaten 1-0 by Pompey at Fratton Park in the Championship clash on Sunday afternoon. Colby Bishop scored the only goal of the game for the home side to hand Leeds a disappointing defeat.

Daniel Farke's side are now level on points with Sheffield United at the top of the Championship table, with the Blades beating Preston North End on Saturday. Leeds will now prepare to return to Elland Road when they face Millwall in midweek as they look to return to winning ways in their quest for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
