LOS ANGELES (KYMA, KECY) - Davante Adams is heading back to the West Coast, this time suiting up for the Los Angeles Rams. The veteran wide receiver has agreed to a two-year, $46 million deal, with $26 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports.

Adams’ move comes as the Rams prepare to shift their receiving corps, potentially parting ways with longtime star Cooper Kupp. The addition of Adams gives quarterback Matthew Stafford another elite target, pairing him with breakout receiver Puka Nacua in what could be a formidable passing attack under head coach Sean McVay.

The six-time Pro Bowler split last season between the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets, making an impact despite an up-and-down year. After being traded midseason to reunite with Aaron Rodgers in New York, Adams hauled in 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns across 14 games. However, the Jets’ offense struggled with consistency, leading to another move for Adams this offseason.

At 32, Adams remains one of the league’s best route-runners, winning off the line of scrimmage with precision rather than pure speed. That skillset should fit well in the Rams' system, where Stafford’s ability to make tight-window throws will complement Adams’ knack for beating man coverage.

For Adams, the move accomplishes two key goals: returning to the West Coast and securing another high-value contract. Now, he’ll look to help the Rams contend in a competitive NFC West.
